Before i start i have checked and checked and i can’t figure out why i have done research tell me what you think… btw its not my battery or alternator or something simply like that.
So i was driving my 1993 GSR last night and after i left the stoplight,(driving normal) i was in second gear around 2.5-3k rpm when one of my 10.4mm thunder sport spark plug wires fall off of the dist. cap. this has happened a few times before so i pull of the road by turning left. Well i was turning the engine died (thats unusual) and the power steering stops working. so i pull off the side road and am in the break down lane of an exit off of a highway. well i get out of my car and put the spark plug wire back on the car and secure it back in its place. i then hop in and try to start it well the starter starts crankin over but the engine won’t fire off…really sounds like it wants to and it almost did but it didn’t. The dist cap and rotor are brand new from honda i put them on a weak ago. so now we are down to a problem. i am not getting any codes from the c/e light, i can hear the fuel pump whining when i have a friend turn the key while im by the gas tank. the spark plugs look red-maroon around the conductor and the prong all four are the same. i checked the injectors and they work fine. the problem has come down to ignition… so what do you thing i checked the rotor and cap and the look fine no burnt wires inside the cap. is it a fuse? if it is what fuse could it possible be? i checked and the starter and alt. fuse are still good. im am stumped on this any help would be appreciated. thnx
PLEASE HELP ME I AM STUMPED :bang: :bawl:
