Alright when i try to start my car, it starts and suddenly turns off. I thought it was the battery cause the battery light is on. But i was messing around to see what it was and I think its my ignition. When i turn the key to the on position it still stays off. It turns on when I push the the key to the start position, but when I start it, and let go of the key it turns off. It only stays on when I hold the key just past the on position. I had to jam a wrench between the column and the key just to drive home. any suggestions. worn ignition contacts? new ignition?
