IL: FS: 1991 Acura Integra RS (60,000 Original Miles)

Price Drop Now only $4,500.

Pics:

Day I bought it (with just under 60,000 miles):

Then I quickly added:

-New Wheels
-New Tires
-New Brakes
-New Coil-overs
-New Camber-Kit (All Four Corners)
-New Spark Plug Wires
-Timing Belt/Water Pump
-AEM SRI
-Full Alignment

  • All suspension mods done by Lou’s Garage in Lake Forest and D & R Autoworks in Highland Park.

I need some interior shots, it is almost like new in there

I bought it for $5,350 back in March/April. (Which I can show a sales sheet for).

Pros:
-STILL only a little over 60,000 on the engine.
-Engine runs like new, can easily push 30mpg and pulls VERY nicely.
-Trans is still silky smooth.
-Not much rust for a 1991

Cons:
-Suspension could use wider wheels/tires and sway bars.
-Air conditioning does not work.
-Had some rear passenger side damage at some point in its life
-Brakes are new, Brake fluid was changed, but still has issues holding brake pressure. Might be an actuator or something like that.

So I did over pay for the car at $5,350 and then spent about $5,000 more on parts and installation.

I’m selling because I am going to be getting married soon and we don’t need two cars.

Selling for *Price Drop $5,500 and that won’t even begin to cover how much I am loosing on this Integra.

If you are interested, please let me know and you can come check it out, take it for a test drive.

Car is Located in Highland Park, IL 60035.

i seen this car for sale on those dealer pages a few months back. it had low miles and was asking alot.
i recognize it because of the NON-DA wing it has.
Or am i looking at it wrong.?

Yep, same one. They were asking a lot for this at first. I got them down to $5,350.

Then I spent over $5,000 of my own doing the work I have in there first post.

Update Just dropped $1,500 off the price. Now only $5,500.00.

Still has under 61,000 Origina Miles.

Engine and trans are super strong. This thing will last forever.

Final price drop on my car. Then I will just give up trying to sell it. $4,500.

I spent WAY too much buying this car and WAY too much fixing it up. But I have no use for it. It just sits there. Only used maybe once a week.

Great engine and trans that both will last forever. Body is in very good shape for a '91. Interior is wonderful shape.

I am interested but the rust and brake issue worries me. Can you post pictures of rust and rear passenger damage? Also decribe the brake problem in more detail. Thanks
