It has been many years since I have posted… and despite long and often predicted doom for my car… I AM BACK G2IC ;D. Sometimes all that is needed to bring you out of the darkness is a good friend. I would like to take this time to personally thank my best buddy Chris (90_DA) and Kevin (idk his g2ic username) for their help with my teggy!
Here is my story:
It began sometime in 2003 (I think). The first car I ever purchased as a youngin… purchased it from a shitty dealership in a shitty town…
I signed up for G2IC and made friends. But right off the batt I had all kinds of previous accident problems… but I was determined. I went through everything with my car from engine bay fires (sorry no pics haha) to wheels falling off…
I still wanted my teggy pretty… and I wanted it to be a respected member of G2IC. And after a lot of time and a lot of money I finally made it:
But it was still AUTO and still a STOCK ENGINE… I needed to do more…
Eventually strange grinding sounds presented themselves… I decided it was time for an engine swap and MANUAL CONVERSION… a project that would take many years and have many participants. Not being much of a mechanic myself I relied on friends to get me through it… the project was passed down more than once and left in the rain for many years…
My nice new paint job slowely faded and my beautiful 4dr shell became a wiring hack job and rats nest
However, in the darkness there was light… a cheap shell presented itself:
A good friends car became a new project… and essentially two cars merged:
I wont go too much into more history but I would just like to say I’m back g2ic and here is whats going on! Last year we had almost given up on the project due to lack of oil pressure… but we overcame that and now here is where we are currently:
The BAD:
I really miss my 4dr shell
Need aircare
Need to install power steering again… that was a mistake to take out
Need to either chip my ECU for the aftermarket intak manifold or change it back to stock (seems to bog at 4500 since there is no first butterfly)
The GOOD:
I’m on G2IC again!
I have a running teg again and I LOVE IT

well im pretty sure i’m just gonna keep it as it is as far as the engine stuff goes. I’d like to keep it NA and i think i have a decent enough set up:
tien adjustable coilovers
RSR exaust
aem short ram intake
gemini cf hood
JDM interior
integra SiR engine and hydro tranny with a exedy clutch and flywheel
ebay ceramic header (lol)
i want a vigor spoiler and then im gonna paint it the same nighthawk black i had before. maybe a nicer front lip to match the mugen replica side skirts… some day in the future i’d like bigger rims i think as well. but mostly aesthetics i think now… still have a lot of cleaning up to do
and yea i was lucky it worked out pretty nice working on it down there… nobody really cared
haha i needa figure out what the hecks wrong with it man… i doubt its just needing tuning theres gotta be something else causing it
