So, I went by the shop today. The car will be DONE by thursday 
So, it’ll be home by this weekend, and painted on Sunday! (maybe even Thursday if I can swing the time off of work I have all the supplies waiting for it, just need the car. I checked it out, the structural repair is DONE, just have a few things on the list to take care of (still have the rust spot to fix, etc.) and it’ll be ready to be released back to me.
MIGHT have sourced a few [SIZE=“4”]really rare[/SIZE] goodies for this thing, too. Only 2 people, other than myself know about these. Going to look at them tomorrow. If I can get the guy to take a little less money for them, some really rare goodies will be installed and ready for the meet

Jake…lookin at your battery install pics leads me to a question. Is that battery a spill proof battery?? If you are not sure then I would either relocate the battery so the it faces upright (like on the chassis where the batt ground goes) or contact the manufacturer. You could be asking for trouble if it isn’t leak proof!

Going to leave in about 20 minutes to go look at the “goodies” to see if they are worth what he’s asking. His asking price for BOTH is pretty decent, but a LITTLE out of my budget. I’m gonna try to talk him down a little bit. I’m sure if I waived cash in his face, it would be hard for him to turn it down, lol.

One of the items, I could get right now, as the asking price, though high, is in my budget and right around the going rate, but I would really like to get both. I might just save my money for now
