Has any body here tried the front engine Innovative mount? You know the one that goes from the tranny to the crossmember. I was wondering if it caused vibration in the car? I want to keep the rest of the mounts stock.
you might feel a little bit, get it with a 65a bushing
I just bought the oem stock mount and filled it with polyeurathane caulking, let it cure for 3 days and it wad good for 2 years. Total cost was about $20.
Were did you get the polyeurathane caulking from? Did you get a lot of vibration off of doing that mod to the mount?
Not really I had all.innovative mounts already and it wasn’t any worse…
I bought the caulking at the homedepo.
Did you apply the poly on the car or off the car?
Why not just replace all the mounts with innovative?.. If the bushing in te front mount is bad, chances are. So are all the
Others. Or pretty close…

Well I was planning on keeping the other mounts stock to try to avoid the vibration. I had Hasport mounts on another civic of mine. It got annoying real quick. I hated all that shaking in the car. So I’m gonna try that poly mod da6xsi06 did to see how I like it
I’ve had Hasport Street mounts on my DA for 3 years now. What shaking are you talking about? My car has zero added vibration from the Hasport kit and when I had the Innovative kit before that my bushings started sliding out of the mounts, deteriated over time and they wouldn’t do anything about the issue because I couldn’t prove where I purchased them from as with Hasport they guarentee for life. But hey that’s just my .02 cent. Do it right either buy new OEM mounts or get Hasport. My friends and I drive these cars for almost 10 years now since we got our licenses. First the torque mount goes bad, then the rear, and then all the rocking of the motor tears the side mounts. It’s a shit design and to all my DA customers I always suggest Hasport solid mounts cause you bolt em in and never have to think about em again. But that’s enough ranting for now. Edit - Also with the HAsport 3 mount kit I dont run the front torque mount so less parts to worry about, again been doing it for 3 years and ZERO issues
I can see how some might order aftermarket mounts and not be happy with the results, innovative has 3 different levels of mounts that range from street soft to full drag race hard. All different colors to give a good indication of eurathane type. or maybe a lil cabin viberation is something you cant live with therefor its not for you.
Thats key part of moding anything on your car.you have to expect a change.
