Input shaft bearing

Hi,

I’ve searched my tranmission problems and symptoms are pointing to the input shaft bearing. It sounds like I have gravel in my tranmission, but the sound goes away when I step in the clutch pedal. Does anyone know the part number for it? Is this the input shaft bearing in the picture? Thanks.

Go to your Honda/Acura dealer and give them your vin number, ask them for the gearbox parts list and pictures. The bearing your looking for the one closest to the clutch, while your in there I’d replace the seal (spiggot shaft oil seal) that’s closest the input shaft bearing! It’s the bearing at the oppisit side the the picture you have!

However, thats not the bearing that usually goes out. The one that usually wears out is the one on the clutch side.

EDIT: forgot to mention that this is for 92+ transmissions. The 90-91 trannies are different.
