both the passenger and the drivers side carpet was wet. when i investigated the problem, something behind the radio was leaking. i don’t know exactly what part this is. it has a white bottom cover. is this the heater core?

Yes, it’s your heater core thats the problem .
good luck dismantling your whole dash to replace it! :shock:

whats a cowl?
ok…just did a search and it is not the cowl. cause when i looked under i saw antifreeze dripping. it is located behind the radio, with a white plastic bottom cover. which i guess is the heater core.
