Install on front upper strut bar

Hey

This may be a dumb question but I’d rather double check than something shitty happen

Is the installation on the front upper strut bar as easy as just taking the bolts off the top of the struts and putting the bar over the thread of the struts and then putting the nuts back on?
I read on some cars you need to jack the car up? I assume this isnt the case on a DA. The car can just stay on the ground?

Yup, it can stay on the ground. Just remove the 4 nuts which secure the top hats to the strut towers, put the bar in place, replace the nuts, torque them to spec, and voila, you’re done.

OP{ don’t feel bad to ask a dumb question. I and other people on here rather people ask to be safe then to do something they don’t know about and then ask why there car is broke. Do what Colin said and your set. Just adjust the bar after its on so it don’t hit anything like mine did.lol

Just a quick FYI:
First time I installed a Neuspeed FUSB the holes didnt look like they lined up, but found out i had to “nudge” the bar so it fit (like almost pushing the bar sideways) .
It made a nice & tight fit. So dont freak if your strut bar doesnt just slip in, it needs to be a bit tight to do anything.
