installing a STR throttle body

a good website for installing an str throttle body on 2gen tegs. I also noticed that not everything is covered. You have to make your own vac line for the bottom of the throttle body but it is not too hard. I went to home depot and bought a piece of hard plastic tubing, some rubber and metal washers, and some screws and made a tap for the vac lines.

First, take the plastic line and insert it into the large hole on the bottom of the tb. Then, use a drill or dremel to cut a hole in the line inside the throttlebody (there is a little air port that runs down and without cutting it, you are defeating the purpose). Next, remove the line, and apply some RTV sealant to the hose, being sure not to cover the hole you drilled. Insert it back in to the hole, and place your rubber washer over the line, followed by a large metal one. Take the two small screw with washers and tighten them in the hole on either side of the large washer. This will lock the hose in place. Next, use a hack saw or dremel to cut any of the washer that goes past the throttle body. Attach your vac line to the canister (the red braided one) and you are done!
