You do not have any 12V+ constant power, [white/blue, fuse 14 - 15A, hot at all times, in under dash fuse box].
I would cap off the stock 12V+ constant, [white/blue] but still replace the fuse as it is power for other memories, then run a fused 12ga from the batt. to behind the HU and connect the HUs constant power, [yellow] to it, use a metal back support from the back of the HU to the stock rear support brace, [to ground the HUs chassis to the cars chassis] this will allow better current flow to the HUs internal “high power” amp and result in much better SQ. 94
right and thats what im not figuring out. the only way i can get it to even come on right now is to have HU red and yellow both hooked to OE white/blue and yellow/red…all 4 hooked together if i try it seperately it wont even turn on. it’ll light up for a second and then nothing.
ok got it figured out, it wasnt that fuse you mentioned it was another. had to go through and check every single fuse haha but i got it
thanks much
The constant power lead, [white/blue] was not fused at fuse 14 in under dash fuse box, what fuse was it?
ill have to take a picture my cover on the panel wasnt very accurate. ill take a picture of the cover diagram and the actual panel pointing to what fuse was out
