my amp has been hooked up forever…but where do i run my 12 volt cable through the firewall…? also…how do i mount my amp to my the back of my rear seat?
I’m pretty sure u can find a hole behind the center cosole. I had to kind of poke it out with my car. Just pop open the hood and try to follow some of the wires to the firewall.
Screw the amp to your back seat. Use a drill. Good luck.
well there should be a little hole rite above the gas pedal to the left a bit, there could be a rubber plug int he way and carpet and a bit of rubber insulation
*Straighten out a metal coat hanger.
*Poke it through from the engine side to the interior.
*Attach the wire.
*Pull it through.
You might have to make a little slit in whichever grommet you use so the wire will fit. Or else you can drill your own hole and put in a new grommet. But that sucks. I did that for the Stainless braided oil line to my Oil press guage. Which the f**kin needle just fell off! But that’s another story.

I ran my cable through the passenger side of the firewall. There was a nice big grommet and I just made a small slit in it. I found this was the easiest way because it’s close to the battery and it’s easier to hide the cable under the rug (if you run it on the driver’s side, there’s some metal tubing that’ll make it difficult that runs between the bottom of the seat and the car).
When you mount your amp, try mounting a thin piece of board to the back of the rear seat (under the rug of course) first. If you do this, you can just screw the amp into the board without having to worry about lining up the holes.
