What’s the best way for putting the megan c pillar bar in? Did you have to cut much plastic away from around the rear belts? I am for some reason confused on putting this thing in. Does anyone have any close up pics on the fitment? Or maybe even a step by step!
I did a search but couldn’t find what I was looking for, if anyone knows a link please throw it up here.
The C pillar bar attaches using the bolts for your rear seat belts. So you just pop the little circle out (where the belt attaches in the C pillar) and it exposes a pretty large bolt. Undo the bolt and attach the c pillar bar and tighten. Done. It takes maybe 15 minutes tops.
And you don’t even have to re-attach the rear seat belts since you shouldn’t have people in the back seats EVER with a C pillar bar.
I put one in awhile back, kind of seemed like a waste of money. So I sold it

It’s a waste of money if you don’t drive the car hard enough to feel or notice a difference, so driving on a racetrack or autocross even. So if your only putting it on for cosmetic use or such yes it’s a waste.
It attaches to where the seatbelt bolts are,a nd theirs a pretty thick washer that pushes outward so that you don’t have to cut the plastic, it mounts flush with the plastic. It’s simple bolt on. If you take apart the seat belt bolts and washer’s you’ll understand. And yes the seat belt can go back on.
