i need a new clutch cable, and im just wondering how much trouble is it to put one in? i.e. whats involved? like a half hour/ hour job? im pretty mechanically minded so i think i could handle it, but im just wondering before i start tearing it apart…
I’ve never done it on mine, but I don’t think it would take more than an hour… just disconnect it on the transmission, follow it back towards the firewall, removing it from any brackets holding it in place. Under the dash, disconnect it from the pedal and then pull it through the firewall.
Replace it with the new one, and set clutch adjustments to within spec.
