Installing Coilovers

I just picked up a set of used Skunk Coils (thanks brian!) and I just wanted to know how hard it is to put them on? is it something me and a friend could do at home? TIA

yes, you and a friend should be able to do it easaly…its a pretty easy job…no more than a few hours if that…just pull the whole strutand replace stock sprinces with coil-overs…good luck…

Dan:p

yeah, its pretty simple. but since its your first time its gonna most likely take more than “a few hours”. Usually if all goes smoothly, no air tools and no lift you can do it in 4hrs. A good deal faster if you’re familiar with everything and/or have done it before.

but if you run into any problems it may take most of the day. Oh, and for how to safely remove the old springs read the teg tip on decompressing the springs.

He’s already got lowering springs on his car so having to compress the springs isn’t a worry :stuck_out_tongue:
I’m probably gonna be the “friend” and this will be my third lowering job…second set of coilovers.
