instead of drilling cheap intake for vacum line

Some of you may have found that it’s not as practical to drill a hole in to your intake, if it only has 2 holes, and you have 3 hoses.

what I did was go to kregans(an automotive store), and pick up a vacum T, I got 2 in a box for 2 bucks. Ask for a vacum T.

1.You have a hose that comes out from under your valve cover, that one I plugged in.

  1. Next, their are two small hoses coming out of your intake manifold, I plugged the two hoses into the T, and plug the T into the other hole in the intake.

That’s it. works just as good for me, and didn’t have to drill or weld. I don’t know if anyone’s ever said this before, or you may like drilling better. I just wanted to share what I did.

yup thats what i did, i actually went to pep boys and got a Y valve, works just as well.

what if the intake only has one hole?:frowning:

Look in the Teg Tips, under the engine section there is a tip there for putting in a second tube.

hey
what i did with my intake was i took out the little tube er pipe and slit a little hole in the reducer going to the manifold
shoved the tube in and connected the hose

I don’t see the extra tube for my intake that I am not using. I have an RS…

i didn’t have to buy a new hose but almost the same method but different.

I just used a sprinkler line T (from a previous sprinkler system install) and the clear tubing on mine, works cool… I’m gonna swap all my (smaller) vacumn lines with the clear tubing… curious to see how dirty the air is in there, lol!
