intake manifold and tb for cammed ls

hey guys I wanna know what intake manifold and Tb I should use I’ve heardent about loosing power cause we don’t rev high, here’s my setup

stage 3 Brian Crower cams
supertech dual valve springs
Crower chromly retainers
aem ram air intake
tanabe cat back 2.5 inch
resonator cat
ls trans with b16 1st 2nd and 3rd
12lb flywheel

I plan on going Turbo sometime next year if that helps,
any input on your experiences will help
thanks in advance,
jake

You don’t really want to go turbo with a high duration cam like a Stg 3 cam. That’s more of a all motor cam. Your going to loose power cuz of overlap. A good base cam for turbo would be a type r or similar profile.
Those cams might actually be hurting you if you’re not running a high compression piston.
I mean my brother was running that cam on a eagle 95 mm stroker bored out to 86.2 mm 14:1 compression pistons B series. Basically a high 2.2 b20v.

im using the skunk2 manifold and a 68mm tb port matched of course…

all the parts in my head are bc and im using their stage 2 cams and my head is ported and polished…

so yea… thats what im using =\

I plan on getting a b20 block and getting the Crowe stroker kit to make a 2.2 liter and go a little higher compression and .go Turbo I’ll probably swapout the caMs for their Turbo cars at that point and I don’t have vtec? haha type r? and did you gain power with your skunk 2 manifold and 68mm throttle body? yeah I forgot to mention I’m port and polished too

i would imagine i gained power over the stock set up. my motor went from stock to fully built so idk the what the two contributed to overall gains… im sure its got all the air it needs though

gotcha well thanks for your help man!
