ya guys be smart. we need engine specs, power goals, etc. each manifold is designed for a certain application. you can’t just bolt it on and expect good things.

skunk2 style for N/A applications
custom box or JG style for F/I applications

how about the AEBS mani? its nice and polishd and for less than 200 shipped?

according to them its based on the type r mani

anyone have ne thing to add?

the aebs performs good
best bang for buck
onyl thing is it doesnt look as nice as skunk2/blox

What about the one in the summit catalog, it is BBK ssi series intake manifold. says 8-20 hp and has a standard 70mm tb opening, all hardware included. $279.95??

I just got a ported DH-Racing manifold and 70mm TB…their website said about 20hp/20tq…but a buddy said that it it’ll be like 5-10 and that it’ll provide power to far up in the rpm range to really help…this true?

if your not gonna be hitting high rpm’s in your car you guys think blox is better than skunk 2 because the runners are longer than the skunk 2 runners…what i got from reading was that skunk’s manifold is for higher reving motors…they have shorter runners…correct me if im wrong…i just have a b20 and im not going vtec …so i want to know which one would do the better job…thanks and all replies are appreciated

good lord that was a damn good article. lol. so what i have gathered is that for my app (N/A B18C) i would want nothing larger than a 70mm TB (65mm is large enough) and i would want something with short runners?

right? or am i all confused? lol

so given that, i would want somethign like a Skunk2 mani or an AEBS? (then again, i haven’t really looked at the length of the runners on the AEBS)
