I understand about towing more than you should. But I thought you were referring to your brakes not being able to stop it, as in they were fading.
I fully understand that the car doesn’t have the wheelbase or the mass to tow something that large, I’ve towed plenty of things in my 4x4 that I shouldn’t have.

The hitch, I ordered from an online shop, but can’t remember the name right now and I’m out of town. When I return, I will look up the invoice and post the information. The hitch was around $110 shipped. Btw the shop also sold on ebay, so you could search there too. The bike rack, I bought BVG brand (1 1/4") on craiglist. I paid $100 for it, but new ones can be found at rack outfitters for $180 ish I believe.
thanks! i just bought a hitch from u-haul for 80 bucks. im looking around for a cheap bike rack, something around 100 bucks but everything is like 125 and up. so far, nothing on craigslist eaither. i just started cycling like a week ago, i hope its not just a phase haha.
