ive seen it on jcwhitney website… but it only sez that its for 94 and up model… does anybody have that kind of intake?? i think its a good mod…thanks…
If it’s the Arospeed one, a previous descussion on it determined that it was non-functional when compared to a regular CAI.
I think that wanna be intercooler look is rice boy. Just my opinion.
i dont know about rice guys but i go more for the looks not for the speed… and i also think that intercooler style intake is a big help since it catches more air than the CAI. no other people will find your speedy car so amazing but the police., and for sure you dont get compliment from them, everybody’s different so be it.

it’s been proven that those FMIS-front mounted intake systems don’t do didly squat compared to custom CAI or AEM CAI

Not really, cuz when u dyno them, you dont have air being forced into the filter cuz its not moving. I dont think it helps much, but i wouldnt dismiss it as quick as that…
on the contrary with the dyno theory, that is incorrect because they should be blowing air to the motor with a big ass electric fan! as with the whole front mount air filter things… :down:

my buddy had one on his 99 SI. Catches everything- dirt, bugs, little animals (rabbit) by the way that was funny as hell. He said he did feel a difference but it isnt worth the hassle- too much maintence.
I would think it would hurt your cooling capacity as well since it’s basically blocking the radiator. In general it seems like a silly idea, especially given the price. But to each their own…

dude u get more cool are coming but u have more bends and curves so u have more resistance and stuff to get the the engine from the filter…and the filter cant be that great cause it has to hold up cause it so big u need to make it thick and strong so it doesnt rip|
