My interior panel fabric (the arm rest fabric in the rear seat on the side) is coming loose. Is there any way where I can attach it to the panel without having to disassemble the rear panel?
Some kind of seep through adhesive?

I have used spray adhesive on mine and it worked good… You can find it at walmart or pretty much anywere that has an auto section or a home improvment section… Just peal it back and spray the adhesive in the areas falling off and mold it back into shape… Be carefull that shit is sticky. Try not to get it anywere you dont want it…
^^ but that means you have to take apart the back panels huh? Damn that’s something I really don’t want to deal with right now… oh well, I’ll do it when I have time… thanks!
No you dont have to take anything apart. If your talking about the fabric that is glued to the side panel obviously it sits on top of the panel. Just peal back whatever part of the fabric is falling off and spray in the adhesive and put it back into shape…
Ahhh I see what you mean. Well the fabric is not falling off the sides but kinda getting loose in the middle, all the sides are still intact.
So I just peel one of the sides off and spray the adhesive and then tuck the sides back into place? Is that what you mean? I just thought you would have to take the panel off to get to the underside of the fabric cuz it might be stapled onto the backside of the panel? I’m just guessing.
Thanks so far for the replies btw.
Nope you dont have to take anything apart. You can do it the way you said or if you can find a can of adhesive that has a straw deal with it then just poke a tiny hole in the middle and stick the straw in and give it a few quick squirts in each direction…

I put my door insert back on with double sided tape, it’s been holding up for over a year

Hey thanks again for the help… I’ll try it this weekend.
Bacardi - that’s something new… there’s another suggestion I can take into account… thanks.
:)???
WHAT??
ROFL
wow they would get their ass kicked for that. Get another glove box that will fix the problem I think.
ROTMFLMMAOS
HAHA, had me rollin!
get a syringe with some sort of glue (guess you’ll need a thick syringe) and inject the glue into the bubble.
Or you can just remove the cloth and enjoy the nice vinyl underneath
That requires removing the door panel though, since you’d have to scrub off all the glue that was there before.
just get some 3M adhesive, that stuff sticks like no other. Don’t get a cheap brand or else it’ll just come off right away. Believe me, I did this to my car already.
^^^^ that dur iz ghetto. you should be ok with peeling off the front fabric if you wanted to… you can’t do that to the rear as those are metal inserts (this is true in a 2 door car). for the rears, you can follow my suggestion or loosen the rear-side panel and lift the metal tabs (from behind the panel) that hold the upholstered sheet metal to it. after that, you can try and remove the piece of cloth from the metal panel, spray it with some spray adhesive, lay the fabric back on, and put the panel back in. up to u i guess.
@(gilcontr)- ditto. they are metal panels.
