You might be thinking of MarcD who also posted in here - he’s a good friend of mine with two ultra low mile LS coupes and a low mile GS sedan. Your NSX is a beauty, and the GS-R looks immaculate for its age and miles. That new (well, 2012) leather redo turned out phenomenal. Pretty cool that you still daily drive it. My daily is a 2013 ILX that Acura hooked me up with in exchange for some blogging and social media work when the car launched in mid-2012. I’m at 108,000 miles on it and it’s been totally trouble free. It’s a 6MT with the OEM body kit and other goodies.
Haha, I get that question a lot. Believe it or not, the miles aren’t from any work commuting. It’s leisure / weekend travel mostly. I’ve hit 19 of the 50 states in it already. Here’s a blog post from October when I rolled 100,000 miles. I summarized some of my favorite trips.
Acura has used a lot of my blog content in social channels, as that was part of the arrangement when they gave me the key to the car. I’ve had a blast with it.
Even when I was delivering pizza in the GSR I was only putting on about 3200 per month. That is a crazy amount of miles for just leisure driving. It just goes to show how good the cars are though.
