Welcome to g2ic. Have never heard of 2nd gear going bad in the DA. How many miles on the LS? I have about 230k on my 93 LS and the only transmission issue I ever had was the throw out bearing going bad.

Yeah I was confused on what he was talking about the car only has 118K and the only Honda I’ve seen second gear go bad on was my buddies 2000 EX Civic.

Wow, very low miles. Just watch out for the rain. Our cars tend to have a front passenger side cowl leak, water into the trunk from the rear tail light seals or sunroof drain issues leaking water into the interior

Good to know! Luckily from everything I’ve seen of the car there’s no visible water damage, car has been in private collection and barely seen the sun, Honestly looks like it rolled off the showroom floor yesterday lol.

Whoa I want pix!

As for the passenger side leak, I have made a part that fixes that but requires you to remove the windshield cowl. Don’t mess with it unless you need it though. I hope to have them available again very soon.

Welcome!

It’s a pretty sweet ride! Funnily enough the place it’s being sold by is right by where I used to live so I also have an excuse for a mini vacation when I get it lol

Dude, that is so clean. Awesome pick up

Wait, was this the car in the video that a dealer made several weeks ago?

Yeahhhhhh, I tried negotiating on price with the guy but he pretty much called me broke and told me to kick rocks….
Shout out to my new CRX Si tho :skull:

Sucks about DA. That dealership can kick rocks. Love the Crx pick up

Yeah i love the Second Gen Integra design so much :pensive:, oh well I’ll just bide my time and snag a GSR when one makes itself available.

I had a similar experience with a mint looking auto G2 that the small dealer himself was driving as a daily. It looked like they got it off some old person for cheap but he wanted a lot for it. I wanna say like $8K? I made a post on Instalame about it, I think. Anyway, a few weeks later I didn’t see it parked outside anymore. If I had the money and space I would have bought it and stored it like a hoarder :stuck_out_tongue:

That CRX is a very lovely consolation prize! Is it an 88 or 89? SI? Can’t tell if I’m seeing a sunroof there or if that’s just something in the background.

Oh shit! That LSS ! My first G2 was an LSS but I bought it with 1/2 the mileage at 1/3 the cost…in 2001, haha. How did that one look in person? Impressive that it’s been in CA it’s whole life and still has the plugs in the front bumper.

Here’s a 23 year old pic of mine when I bought it.
(Current neglected project in the garage is an aztec green pearl GS-R)

She’s an 88! Been a blast so far, although my MPG hasn’t been the best (probably my lead foot lol) the mods done to it so far make it a total joy to drive! Gotta find some time to do the rear disc conversion I got with the car though.

Dealer wanted 15k for that LSS originally then dropped to 14k I offered 11k and that’s when he changed his tune so I spent 7k on the CRX lol

OH man. I didn’t know it was that high really!

Wow yeah, just not a reasonable price for that LSS, especially only being willing to come down $1k.

You’re going to love that CRX though! Definitely looks worth the $7k in these pictures!

The extra set of Rays GRC wheels wrapped in Proxes T1R’s made it definitely worth it, I could go on with all the other stuff that came with the car although I’m not to sure how Gen 2 Integra related it all is lol
