Whats up G2IC. Just recently picked up a DB1 with a bone stock LS/OBD0. So after getting the car, cel would come on so of course checked the codes and got 12 & 13. Which are MAP and EGR. Not worried about the EGR thats just an emission thing but why does that matter with obd0, but with the map im wondering about the idle deal. Took it to my buddys shop so i could get a better look at things and happened to notice that an item was missing.
Not My Engine Bay Just A Refrence
So after firing it up we noticed the car had died up but that ended up being the screw to the rotor button wiggled free, but once we got it fired back up. The idle was still screwy. So we put a hose with a screw on the end of the Purge Cut-Off and the idle started settling down correct and hasnt been an issue since. But with that part missing is that possibly tripping my MAP?
