is it possible to swap a g3 integra tach in g2 integra cluster?

mods please move to the appropiate forum if wrong. as title states, i’m wondering if i can swap a higher redline tach in my g2 cluster. thing is that i’m almost finished with my build and the ecu has been set to rev higher than when it was stock. a friend is selling a g3 cluster for dirt cheap, and suddenly i was wondering if i should buy it and swap tachs. is it possible to do that? will it work properly? has someone done it? thanks for your help.

why not just get a jdm or gsr tach?

Why don’t you just wire the G3 cluster in the car and buy a electric VSS?

I bought my VSS off ebay with the pigtail for $35 just about a month ago. Took me a few hours to wire everything up. I made a sheet of all the wires and where they go before I started. A lot of the wires are gonna be the same color in the DC cluster as well. Please, solder everything!:rockon:
