The vibration will eventually go away if you get inserts. The rubber has to loosen up over time.
Am I the only one who likes that feeling of my teg shaking at idle?? Makes it feel like I got more horses under the hood than I actually do… heheheheh…
vrmm, vrrmmm!!!
Well, i replaced it this morning with some help and the vibration is gone. Well, i should say it’s back to normal.
Good, I hope your questions were answered.
I’m ordering front (lower and uppper) from suspension.com (energy bushings) and I’ll install my self too… hope things work out fine…
it says for manual, i have auto =( will it still work:?
I had a shop do my front mount and Energy Suspension inserts about 8 months and none of my friends with Hondas notice a difference with vibrations.
someone mentioned urethane liquid or something but was never able to find a place to purchase it. any ideas? and can you elaborate on the inserts
If you look at your motor mounts( the rubber area), you will notice dead space where no rubber is. The inserts go in place of those dead spaces to fill in the gap and space. They strengthen the circumference of the motor mount.
I’m not sure this will help but I know there are some suppliers for liquid polyurethane/s that will stand up to the task.
Here’s an old site I bookmarked eons ago:
http://www.geocities.com/CapeCanaveral/Hangar/6160/se-r/mounts.html
If I could afford not to drive for a few days, I would try this out. If comeone wants to ship me some cooked mounts, I will try it. Anyone game?
Andrew.
same sort of content but with some pics:
http://www.nx2k.com/nx2000/hd_mounts.htm
Although these sites reference weak Nissan mounts, I doubt there is much difference from one destroyed/failing mount to the next.
Andrew.

can someone confirm this? i kinda would rather have a softer stock ride but not have to pay the oem prices. but then again i have tires/struts/bars/sways so maybe i can afford more vibration heh. i just dont like seeing my thumb vibrate on the wheel, its kinda embarrassing heh
would the urethane compound/3M Windo Weld be closer to the es, prothane, or stock ya think?
oh and whats with teh ‘for manual only’ under the description at summit?
I have a driver side motor mount, I think, if I still have it how could I get it to u and where u at??? It’s cracked, but not all the way through. Let me know where ur at and i’ll see if I can get it to u.
1994-01 Motor Mount Inserts- (3 Torque Mount Positions) 16.1106 (113)
1990-93 Motor Mount Inserts- (2 Torque Mount Positions) 16.1109 (113)
ENS-16-1109G Bushing kit, motor mounts, 3 torque positions, 1990-93 Acura Integra, black $21.99 B/O
ENS-16-1109R Acura: 1990-93 Integra, with manual transmission, red, motor mount insert set … $21.99
ENS-16-1109Y Bushing kit, motor mounts, 3 torque positions, 1990-93 Acura Integra, yellow $21.99 B/O
looks like summit is a little confused. they also dont note anything about auto vs. manual. the only designation for ‘manual only’ is for the rsx
WARNING! BANG THEM GEARS HARD ENUFF WITH THE FRONT MOUNT BROKEN AND YOUR ENGINE WILL ROCK BACK FAR ENUFF FOR THE SPEED SENSOR HOUSING TO COME IN CONTACT WITH MR. RACK AND PINION AND BREAK IT CLEAN OFF. I DARE SOMEONE TO FIND THE HOUSING ANYWHERE BUT ON ANOTHER TRANNY. ACURA SELLS IT WITH THE TRANS ONLY. LOL…LOL…-ADAM

nope
speed sensor is located on top of transmission diregtly below thermoustat housing… has cable and p/s teering hoses going to it.
Yeah, my motor mounts were broken, and I bought some aftermarket ones (energy suspension). I was lazy so I took it to my mechanic to do it. He said it couldn’t be done and that i needed some sh*t. I dunno. Im sure he’s wrong…isn’t he?
