Went to put on the new bumper I got from a member on here like 5 years ago lol and it came with a bumper support but it wasnt bolted to the bumper it self. Got to looking and they are similar, but not the same. It wouldnt have worked for me, glad I noticed it and didnt trash my support …
When i replaced the bumper on my lil brothers 93 LS,we used the 91 bumper cover. I told him he would need the 92/93 support cause the 90/91 wouldn’t fit the 92/93 frame because the bolt pattern was different.
I thought the supports where the same its just mounting blocks and skins that are different! but they do look visibly different.
The skin are all interchangeable,the supports are whats different.
Yes the bumper support AND the thing it bolts too (which is bolted to the car) are both different on 90/91 vs 92/93
you can see the different bolt patterns in the two supports in those pictures op posted above.
You learn something new (almost) everyday, even after owning one of these for 12 years lol!
Anyone in Central Florida need a 90-91 bumper support…?

help please! which one is the 9091 and which is the 9293?
The bottom one is 92-93 because i have the same bolt pattern on my 93ls.
