a western union money order doesn’t mean its a secure transaction. all it takes is ONE PHONE CALL on his behalf to put a “stop payment” on it after he’s sent it. then, if you’ve already sent him the car, he keeps his $xxxx and your car. DO NOT CONTINUE WITH THIS SALE!!! if you do, and you get ripped, don’t come crying. i’m not trying to be a prick, but you asked, we advised against, and you mention “trying” to continue the sale with him using Western Union money orders. they are far too easy to “manipulate” to be considered SECURE. when i deal with checks and money orders, i don’t even package up the items i’m selling until i have cashed the check/money order and i have CASH IN HAND! that way, if it ends up being fake, 1) i still have MY STUFF, and 2) i can take that fake check/MO to the police and attempt to report his/her ass. don’t fall for it, sell vehicles locally. would YOU want to buy something THAT FAR AWAY when you could just as easily find one just like it within 5-100 miles? and have plenty of color variety to choose from, and all within the same price range i’d bet ($1,500-$3,000) i’d think not. its not like DA/DB integras are rare, they are everywhere.
