trying to sell my teg, let me know what you guys think. This is like a 1,000 mile transaction, I’d love to sell my teg but don’t wanna end up in a bad situation. and what forms of money payment are more secure than a cashier’s check, apparently the bank when I contacted them treats money orders and cashier’s cheques as regular cheques, meaning even though they are “secure”, there is absolutely no protection as far as me receiving money.
I am interested in this vehicle, pls do get back to me with your firm price if its still available.
I just have these few questions left:
what is the general condition of this vehicle?
How is the title? it is clean or not?
previous owners?
Can you make yourself available for the shipping company when they
will come for the pick-up?

Thanks for your email. Very well then $2200 its going to be.
What is the name and address that the certified check should be made out to?
I am located at MN. Also attach photos of the engine and the interior, I want to have a final look.
I await your response.

NB: A certified check that is cashable the same day would be mailed to you as payment , so when you get payment you cash it and send any excess to my shipper based in MN, which would be meant for shipping. as soon is the shipper’s get the funds will set up a pick-up date and time. I do not have the final quote from the shippers yet, but as soon as I have it I will let you know or better still it will be included in the payment to you.
I think that looks like a scam to me. Do not do business with that person you are going to get ripped off. There are people on craigslist and other sites like that scam people this way. Happened to my uncle and there was nothing anyone could do about it.
* inquiry from someone far away, often in another country
* Western Union, Money Gram, cashier's check, money order, shipping, escrow service, or a "guarantee"
* inability or refusal to meet face-to-face before consumating transaction
Its showing all the signs of a scam, yet you still want to go through with it?
It’s obviously a scam if he request’s your firm price and agree’s to it joyfully, Then wants to ship out a $2000 car to wherever he claims to be, Wants to use a 3rd party in purchasing the car, Wont look at the car before buying it.
Fuck with him and string him along as much as possible. I love to give fake addresses and names and get these assholes to send out fake checks. If nothing else the time spent messing with them is less time they have to try and rip actual unsuspecting people off. Plus it’s just fun to get their hopes up.
