:wtf: vandals! Is this reparable (a-frame) or is the car gonna be a right off. Any insite or appreciated. TIA
do you have coverage for theft?
To me it looks fixable, but it wont be cheap.
damn them peoples!
anything is fixable. but the cost of fixing it.
yeah, i got coverage, I guess what I’m asking is is it worth fixing
Im wondering did they steal your deck too? or it’s just some haters.
nothing stolen…I think it was a drive by or something because when the alarm went off I looked outside and saw no one
looks to me like a driveby with a bat.
that sucks dude
Is it worth fixing? the question is, how much does your integra mean to you? if the cost of repair seems reasonable to you/you like the car enough, then its worht it.
wow. someone must hate you! that looks badd. usually something like that ICBC would write off…
Wow dude that sucks. The problem is not only will you have to replace the front windshield and window but the pillar. Since the pillar is connected to the roof, door, front fender, hood, and roof you would not only have to have it cut out and replaced but have all the above pieces color matched. I would assume it would be a pita to actually locate that piece. Unfortunately the best thing to do is go to like 2-3 body shops on your own and get prices to fix it. Based on the price it would cost to fix this you need to consider the value of your car. If the damage is higher than the value of your car the insurance company probably will just total the car and give you the depreciated value of the car (you could then buy your car back and a lower prce but would have to deal with how it looks). Another way to go about it is to have the piece replaced and have the whole top half of the car painted black or something (pictures are on the website) which could be cheaper. Unfortunately its a shit situation and your going to be the loser in it regardless of how the car gets fixed/replaced/left alone. Hopefully I helped out alittle. People are real asshole.
That might be considered totaled. Even if it is fixed you would have to worry about it leaking if it wasn’t done properly.
If that was a bat, they must have broken their elbow to make a dent like that. A pillars are not weak like a mail box is. I would almost have to believe someone got out the car and stood there and did it. I find it a little hard to believe they were able to do this while the car was moving. Know anyone that doesnt like you???
That was no baseball bat. The a pillar is a solid structural piece and a bat will never do that to it. This damage is quite repairable. Judgeing by your pictures they should be able to get an A pillar piece from the wrecking yard or even a new piece and section in the skin of the pillar. Your car would go on the frame rack and the pillar pulled out a bit. The outer painted skin then would be cut away exposing the actual a pillar structure for repair of the inner portion. Then the skin on the new piece will be removed from it, preped for welding, and sectioned into that spot. They will paint up the pillar and stop the paint line under that roof drip moulding, most likely blending out down the sail panel in the rear. We had a Toyota Tundra come in recently that had a board fall off the 20th floor of a building under construction and land on the A piller and it didn’t do that much damage, although the truck is much stronger.
Good news, NO WRITE OFF. $2000 worth of damage…apparently some people are going around the neighbourhood and throwing bricks and concrete things at cars. Fing idiots
get another shell , ur better off
insurance covers all costs (minus 300$ detuctable) so I’m just gonna leave it
wow
See what’d I tell ya? You live in Langley hey? No offense but don’t bring it to my shop cause I don’t wanna fix it.
thats some fuck up shit
fuckin’ cock suckers…
Only ICBC will really be able to tell you if it’s a write-off or not…
I say fix it… it doesn’t look that terrible… But if they write it off… then thats a good sign it’ll be too costly to bother fixing…
