im doing an ls/vtec and i put a itr oil pump on my b18b block but my LS timing belt cover dont seem to fit right. I kinda rigged the Ls timing belt cover on it but from the looks of it my t belt is still exposed. anyone here run their motor with out the lower timing belt cover? i understand gravel and rocks are an enemy. but i guess i have to wait another two weeks to order a lower itr t-belt cover then…any one run with out a cover is it safe? anyone here installed a itr oil pump on the ls blocks?
The only part that didn’t fit right was the bottom I think…it’s been a while now. Anyway, I think I just trimmed the bottom a lil bit and it fits.

thats the same thing i did but from the looks of it, the timing belt from the crank on the bottom is still exposed… i dont need rocks and gravel going there and probably skip a tooth on the belt
