Where is Ben Ogle anyway? i read this post a while ago and it is old.
He probably died.
Ben
Damn, the great Ben Ogle is still here watching over us
hello Ben i would like to thank you for BRE and i am greatfull to read alot of you how to’s.
my ITR bar came with endlinks attached. all it is is 2 bolts attaching them to the LCA…
i’ve also edited my post to add some comments regarding ITR /DA6 LCAs vs US ones, which might need confirming.
[QUOTE=burch92;1177639]The Second thing we did (emphasis on we because you’ll need two people for most of the install) was take out the rear seats to locate the fuel pump. Disconnect the fuel pump, unscrew the cover and there should be another connection to disconnect.

Just to clarify for folks, that’s not the fuel pump.
That’s just a little metal cover plate where the wiring goes through. the fuel pump is accessed only by dropping the tank. It’s located up near where the filler neck attaches to the tank.
Wow, this is a bit late, but this is exactly how I explained how the ITR rear bar should be installed like 4 years ago.
i remember that. had a different username at the time.
thankfully now there’s no fabrication or washers needed, as the beaks kit does an excellent job of reinforcing.
interesting also to compare the pricing of the ITR sway + beaks vs. ST rear sway.

Beaks makes a kit for our car now? Or do I just use a DC/EG Beaks Kit?
Eg/dc
Actually, I think the EK kit would work better then the DC/EG.
The EK kit is all flat, but the DC/EG has an offset and won’t bolt up flush to the subframe.
