will a itr rear sway bar work on my da i know ill have to have a asr brace but d ont really need a 24mm rear sway bar for street driving and mountain corners
yes with the asr subframe brace it fits no problem. i have the jdm 23mm itr rear sway bar.
just want to clarify, only w/ the ASR subframe brace for the DC, will the ITR rear sway bar work, correct?
No you do not. I ran an ITR rear sway for about 2 years using spacers that kept the swaybar 1/2 inch off the subframe.

Sadly I wrote this a long time ago, and every forum update deletes my pictures. But where the geocities link is dead, you can brainstorm your own way to keep the swaybar D brackets 1/2 an inch off the subframe. For me I drew out the footprint of the D brackets, used a metalshop mill to cut some chunks of metal to match that footprint and at 1/2 inch deep, and shaved the chunks to clear the abs lines.
THe people who damage their subframes, I suspect they overtighten the swaybar D brackets and excessively load the subframe metal in the wrong direction. Up-down forces are fine, but in and out is like sitting your fat butt on a front fender.
you need the ASR subframe brace for a DA. but it fits with the stock endlinks. just make sure to have the proper D brackets and bushings for either the 22mm usdm or the 23mm jdm bar.
