I've just about had enough of this - another no start thread

As you guessed, I can’t get the Teg started. Before any board Nazis tell me to use the search function, I’ve been on this board long enough to know what places to check for, so I’ve gone through all the obvious ones and I’m still stumped.

It happened out of nowhere. At first I thought it was a dead battery, but a full charge or even jump start didn’t do it. My next thought was the main fuel relay so I replaced it with a new one and still nothing. I then installed a starter relay kit and cleaned the ignition switch (I have an auto to 5 speed conversion). So now the starter turns over, but I don’t hear the main fuel relay click or the fuel pump prime (installed a Walboro 255lph about a year or two ago). Swapped ECU’s just to see if that was it and still nothing. I tried back probing the connectors at the main fuel relay and it appears to be reading fine (I think). All the other interior electrical seems to be fine, head unit, sub/amp work fine.

I’m not good at reading/understanding electrical diagrams or understanding how relays work on paper and checking/probing, so just in case, has anyone else encountered the same thing and/or have any tips/suggestions? If it’ll save me hours or weeks and help me get it back it back on the road I’d appreciate it.

Ignition switch harness. try that yet?

First, what is the exact nature of the problem? Is the motor turning over but not starting? Have you checked and then rechecked fuel pressure after cycling the key ? Have you checked to make sure the distributer is spinning? Have you checked the fuses? Every bit of info will help everyone sort out your problem.

may not be it, but maybe?

I had an intermittent starting problem with my 93 integra rs - Had it “Fixed” several times, each with a different repair result reason - This is what finally solved the problem: I had a Defective Starter installed earlier that was the Actual problem - The Electrical Brushes (or whatever) would be fine until they eventually turned and then “Settled” into a Non-Electrical Contact position, making my car dead - I would then have to Clutch-Pop-Start it - The non-start problem did not happen often; only about 3-6 times per year, but it was Highly irritating (so was spending all of the money on the Fake-Fixes) Replacing that defective starter fixed everything
