Finally got around to installing my J-Speed fender brace. It was off a DC2 application and it actually mounts to our car with no mods

do you mean welding to make the brace itself? cause he say to install the braces theres no mods at all.
Yeah I meant making the actual brace. Doesn’t look too hard from the looks of the design.

Nice!! Im definitely gonna have to pick these up. These made a big difference on my old 240. The only thing is, is that since the front is a lot more rigid its going to expose the good/bad of your suspension setup. It has to work harder since the chassis isnt flexing as much under deflection.
Haha I didn’t say I can make them… I was just saying the design looks simple to fab up yourself if you’re good with welding skills…

im trying to make some for my car not really in a speedy fashion but im putsin around with it so ill let you know if i can make them at a reaonable price. Wont be polished or look like the j speed but should work the same. ill update when i finish my build adn see if i have any problems with my replica.

No clue if they do I got time and a welder I might as well try it out

I’d be interested to hear some input on the brace, any chance you noticed less flex at the front end while jacking the car? I figure there’s virtually no way to feel a difference from driving it, but you might be able to see a visual difference in flex of the front end while jacking.
Any people will know,any other brand than J’s for DC2 fender brace will fit to DA??
