JDM 1-piece ebay Black Fog light question

I have purchased theses a while ago and I remember reading a forum on this problem but after a half hour of searching, I cannot seem to find the actual post. I was using my JDM’s fog lights for about a week and I noticed one of them out. A few days later the other fog went out. I replaced the bulbs in them (even though they looked fine) and they did not work still.

What I noticed is that the Red and Black wires on the Headlights are a gauge or two bigger then the actual one on the cars wiring to the light. Do I have to retrace the wire all the way back to the switch? What do I do to find this short?

Replace the wires in the housing,there cheep and soft,also replace the connectors,cause the ones that come with the lights are crap. Had this same problem,and it pissed me the hell off…lol

You said that you replaced the light bulbs but it still didn’t work? The fuse inside the car is bad,but replace the wiring first before replacing that fuse.

Replace the wires in the actual headlight housing or the wires going to my switch inside my dash console?

Replace the wires inside the one piece housings,then tap the new wires to the OE fog wires.
