JDM B16A Power Steering Pump Question

Installed a 92-95 JDM B16a SIR VTEC engine in my 93 Integra a year ago. We used the stock JDM power steering pump that came with the engine. The pump has a small leak and I would like to either rebuild or replace it - but don’t know what domestic vehicle shares this same pump. Anybody know?

wouldnt it be the same pump as the stock b18? or is it in a differant location?

i think any b series will work. except for the 94- gsr. but im not sure so dont qoute me on that

The pump from my old non-VTEC B18 engine is not a match without changing brackets and fittings

why didnt you do that in the first place when you swaped the motor? does that mean you had to swap the hose fittings already for the swap or what? because it seems to me that the OEM pump should work in the car that its meant for minus the brackets from the jdm motor for obvious reasons (jdm/usdm)

Nope, the OEM B18 brackets don’t work on a JDM - it was quicker to adapt the pressure hose

I would just replace all the seals. That’s what I did to mine.

I would love to replace the seals - matter of fact I ordered a kit for a Del Sol Vtec (since they share many components with the JDM). Totally differant design, totally differant seals and 0 rings. I even bought a set of universal metric 0 rings - also not the same. My question is - which Honda OEM engine, model and year shares the same version of the JDM pump.
