jdm bumper support

where can i get them…i can not find them anywhere online and jdm unlimited do not have them…

come to east LA look for a shop called g spot zip code 90032 or hit them up 323-226-0406

do you know much it costs?

no idk

what year do u need?

I’ve been looking for a 92-93 as well. No luck yet.

mine is 90-91 but i thought jdm support fits 90-93…?

damn, i had one. I should of took it off before I sold the DA. It’s so much more light weight than the heavyass usdm one.

the supports fit 90/93 front an 90/93 rear they are NOT different between 90/91 an 92/93

Are you sure? USDM front supports are different, and thus have different support brackets. If all the JDM supports are the same, then by definition they can only use either the 90-91 or 92-93 support brackets - but not both. So which is it?

The supports are all the same the mounting blocks are differant. But supports are the same 90/93 it not like usdm one all jdm is real thin metal to hold the skin on nothing more

Basically, you will have to use bumper support brackets that correspond to the particular year bumper support you are using.

If you look at a jdm support then you will see why they will work for 90/93 as why 90/91 an 92/93 are different

This still doesn’t make sense to me. Look at the link Mike posted.

  1. The mounting holes for 90-91 and 92-93 brackets are different. Thus, supports, and their corresponding holes need to match the bracket. Unless the holes are slotted, or the support has two sets of holes the supports could not physically bolt to both types of brackets.

  2. The brackets are completely different thicknesses. Again, look at the photo. If you bolt the same support to each bracket (which isn’t possible considering my comment above) then the support would be located closer to the radiator support on 90-91 brackets vs using 92-93 brackets. This would then pull the entire bumper into a different location - thus causing it not to fit properly.

Maybe you’re right and all JDM supports are the same, but there’s no way that if they are all the same that you could use either 90-91 or 92-93 brackets. Maybe all the JDM supports used one style of bracket and only the USDM ones are different. I’ve had a couple different cars w/ the JDM supports but I can’t now remember what brackets I’ve used.

password jdm still has them listed on their site, but out of stock…

I have one for a 90-91 bumper. Email me at ovod @ sbcglobal.net
