When I had my lexus Sc300 a common mod was to bake the headlights pop them open and deline/clear the headlights . Has anyone done this to there jdm 1pc headlights ? The best I could find was Tegboi’s jdm headlights with ebay lenses. Pictures please !!

Only a few have done it and honestly, it looks like crap cuz most only did the middle part due to thier retrofits. Search for retrofits and you’ll end up with some pics…

I would think a hid setup without that portion of the headlight cleared would have some horrible scatter eh ?
The inside of the jdm one pieces isn’t that great looking. Its just the reflectors with gaps between them. The inside wasn’t designed to be seen so its not made like the ebay lights. And yes, if you didn’t sand the fluting in front of the projector it would cause glare because it would break up the light coming out of the projector.

thats the issue for me, behind the fluted lens, the JDM 1 pieces aren’t a looker.
i think its fine that the sanded part is just where the projector sits.
I heard rumors that the eBay 1 piece lenses fit on the JDM housings. Don’t quote me on that though.
Yup… Tegboi has tried it and confirmed it… but as always… I find myself asking why when you can just buy the ebay clear ones since the inside of the JDM housing is ugly as fuck.
^I guess, unless you are trying to keep that JDM point on your car’s score card.
