Can someone tell me the difference between the JDM fenders and the USDM fenders besides the side markers. If thats the only difference is there an easy way to tell whether it’s a JDM or a modified USDM? The reason I ask is cause mine got hit today.

that is the only difference. the “jdm” ones are cut for sidemarkers.
hey i had a question, i picked up some dc2 sidemarkers last week and was wondering if the wireing is different?
like i had some da sidemarkers and sold them (didnt like them) but i noticed that the wires on the back of the sidemarkers are different from the dc2 ones. the dc2 looks like an outlet plug? and the DA one had the 2 wires.
what do i need to buy to install teh dc2 ones? anyone know?
its just two wires. positive and a ground.

You’re just confused. The JDM 88-91 Civic fenders are wider than the USDM, but DA fenders are identical, except for the sidemarkers. Just about every exterior piece on the USDM & JDM tegs are the same, The exceptions are…
Sidemarkers
One piece headlights
Thinner side moldings
Some had power-folding mirrors
Badges different
Glass is bronze
bumper lights on 90-91 are orange, whereas USDM are clear
Taillights don’t have a side reflector
Everything else on the JDM teg is the same as USDM. This is why I’m not going crazy on the JDM stuff. Some of the differences are trivial too. I mean , why pay extra for the taillights just because of the that minor difference? Not to mention that my windows are tinted, so bronze glass is out. The headlights are a must though. They make the front end so bad ass!
BTW- Here’s a fun fact… Many Japanese car enthusiasts are importing USDM parts over to swap onto their cars! So it seems the road goes both ways.

No, i aint on crack…there have more of a flare compare your selves and you will find out put one jdm on one side and a stock usdm on another and you will see…look like it when i was putting mine on

:umno:… maybe u just had some beat up fenders b4 or something. if there is a difference then ok… if not then ok… u didn’t get the fenders bcuz of the flare, but bcuz of the sidemarker hole already there stock.
correct…i aint here to start crack just dont like the name calling…homeboy who started the tread ask a question and i gave him my feed back what i saw i could of been wrong so be it i will admit it but yes i bought them for the side marker socket…i mean is this not why this site is up to help eachother out and find out things we dont know and give advice to gain more knowledge about our cars…
