Today i purchased a honda integra zx hatch. It has jdm parking permit…correct me if im wrong on what its called…just wondering if its suppose to be on the inside or outside? Ive done very little research and some say its sticky on both sides so assuming that would give the option to the owner?? Mine is outside and I wish it were inside just so nobody touches it. LMK

Ive only seen them on the outside. None of my cars have it. I’ll ask someone and find out exactly what that is and whats its for.
Not to change the subject but it was only a Japanese model that had a sohc (zc) engine in it
it goes on the left side of the glass an must are on the outside of the glass

Here’s mine. It’s a USDM DB1, nothing special but I got it as a gift from friends in Osaka, Japan. What I thought was that it would stick on the inside of the vehicle and then covered with the clear sticker that comes with the yellow pass. Thus why there’s two sticky sides to the sticker. And nobody would steal it if it’s on the inside of your vehicle…

Didnt mean to confuse anyone…I dont own a zx model. Its a usdm DA9 with jdm B20b and a handfull of jdm parts. I have the one piece lights, ZX hatch, 90-91 xsi cluster, obd0 chipped XSI ecu, and thats all atm…working my way up one piece at a time.

If i had an option it would be on the inside, but someone in japan placed it where it is, on the outside. Im sure they dont have to worry about thiefs touching their decals…
And why would you think that, you give someone the opertunity to steal something and they will.
If I had my guess, I would agree with Germz. that it would be on the inside.
crime in japan isnt a frequent as one would think. here in okinawa anyway, crime is so low people dont even lock their cars in crowded parking lots and some dont even bother to roll up the windows. getting a free decal stolen off your car isnt even on the worry list. the number on sticker matches with the registered car. so stealing that sticker would be like a white guy stealing a black guys id… and using it.
the only reason that a japanese person would put it on the inside is so it lasts longer and isnt facing the elements as much, but it is just easier to slap it on the outside of the glass…

my point exactly its a free decal that all recieve so if u have a car chances are you have one
