I just got a pair of 1pc’s and I was checking the bulbs. Well there weren’t any, not even the fogs, but the question I have is, There doesn’t seem to be any kind of seat for the H3 to mount to. I had some H3’s laying around so I stuck on in there and it just flopped around in the housing. Is the H3 not the right type of bulb? Or is there some bracket that I am missing?

They should look like the usdm dogs do, same clip type of lock. I would just transfer it from your old set into the usdm Lights.

Wrong. Fog light bulbs are H3 for both JDM and US headlights.
wrong wording in mine. i should have been more clear. i meant the usdm and jdm fogs are the same althought the headlights are very different
if there is no way the h3 bulbs can securely seat inside the fog lights and you dont see any mounts, then it looks like the brackets were taken out. best solution is to use the mounting bracket from the usdm foglights. hopefully you can modify them so they can work in the JDM headlights. only issue you MIGHT run into is not being able to access the screws that holds the brackets in place inside the 1-pieces, therefore…you MIGHT have to take apart the lens and fog light reflector in order to access those screws. I took apart my 1-pieces twice, but i don’t remember if you can access those screws without taking apart the lens and reflector.
Thanks db1st…that’s what I ended up having to do. I had to use the seats from the usdm fogs and put them in the jdm housings.
