ohh thanks alot da n1ne, guess i didnt look hard enough, but still wondering how to take off the lens?

theres a thread for that, but iā€™m going to be nice. Use a heat gun or your oven, then put a flat head in between the lens and the plastic. Make sure you do it carefully or you might damage the lens.

REMEMBER!!!

Do NOT pry the lens off, instead slowly ROTATE the screwdriver to PUSH them apart SLOWLY.

Also do NOT heat the oven over 200F or you will risk melting your headlights. Keep an eye on them and do not distract yourself with anything while they are heating up, if they sit in the oven for too long the oem chrome paint could begin to warp and bleed, and the plastic could start to deform.

You can also use a heat gun, but you still need to be very careful.

After you are done you should purchase some new heat activated epoxy, or a silicone sealant. The old adhesive may not reseal properly, allowing moisture and other alien things into your housings.

DO NOT USE A DEGREASER OR BLEACHING AGENT TO WASH THE CHROME FINISH INSIDE THE HOUSING! EXTENDED EXPOSURE WILL STRIP AND/OR DISSOLVE THE FINISH!
