JDM one pieces cut out occassionally

I was driving home the other night and my lights simply shut off. I had the A/C and the CD player on. These stayed on the entire time.
The dash lights remained lit and nothing dimmed at all. The headlights just shut off for three seconds.

I installed my one pieces 2 years ago and bought Password:JDM harnesses. They plugged right in and I have not had any problems.

I checked the battery cables, resanded the grounds, and checked the harnesses.

When they cut out, I turned off the lights on the column and when I turned the lights back on, they came back on with no problems for the last few miles home.

Any ideas on what causes them to cut out and jump back on?

stock bulbs? hids? doesnt the password jdm harness have an open conection at the end like the plug is not water tight?>

I had the same problem. Once I got rid of the PWJDM harnesses it was fine.
