JDM Recaro SRD using DA rails?

Does anyone know if the stock DA rails can be fitted on the JDM ITR Recaro seats? I bought these seats and it didn’t come with rails. Thanks.

u might have to custom make some rails, and be careful the width of the recaros, i believe rubbing is a problem

they offer rails for our DAs for i think 60 for driver and 60 for passenger. i e-mailed Recaro because i am going to get some of their seats and wanted to know what i could do for the rails, they suggested Wedge Engineering because they make rails for Recaros and had them for DAs

Cool, I emailed wedge 2 days ago, never got a reply back. I hope they can make rails to make them sit the same height as our stock seats. For some reason, our stock seats sit lower than the rest of the Honda seats.

I just emailed Wedge Engineering and they said they didn;t make rails for 90-93 Integras. Sucks.

Sparco is about to release there brackets for our G2’s but they will pricey. (SPARCO)

Wedge Engineering makes the brackets that fit into our DA. However if you need the Recaro rails to bolt onto the brackets. At least that is how the regular Recaro SRDs are. Try asking Mark from On Track Performance, because I bought SRDs from him with the brackets and sliders earlier in the year.

The Recaros are a tight fit in the car but they do not rub. Also the Wedge brackets have holes to fit the stock seatbelt assembly but I still haven’t gotten them to bolt up correctly (currently zip tied). They also have three height adjustments but to get it to sit the lowest you have to cut off the bottom hole of the bracket. If you use the second hole like I’ve done then it does sit higher than stock.

well I got an SRD and I used wedge bracket and the recaro sliders fits nice. . you can’t even try to use the factory stuff.

90da R-Are you still using the stock seatbelts with the seat?

yeah I still use the factory belts, the wedge engineering bracket has the bracket for it. hope it helps ,the srd is great for me at least.

Well the problem I’m running into is there is barely enough space for that little seatbelt box and even if i was to bolt it to the bracket I wouldn’t be able to adjust the seats because it interferes with the micro adjust turning knob. The seat is comfy though.

any pictures of the seats in the DA?

With those bracket, do they sit higher than stock?

they said they dont make them eh? thats why they told me they did? …

I emailed them 2 days after Christmas and said they didn’t. I talked to Steve. I am pretty sure they do, not sure why they said they didn’t. But I did her they sit higher than stock, can anyone elaborate on the height afer installation?

you must have asked them the wrong question, i said “ive got a 91 acura integra and im going to get some Recaro Sportline seats, do you make brackets to fit them?” they said “yes, 60 for driver 60 for passenger” or something like that

I asked them for rails for a 90-93 integra for JDM ITR Recaro SRDs.

It could be that the JDM Recaros don’t bolt into our cars like the regular Recaro SRDs do but I highly doubt it. I think the best way to install it would be to get the Recaro rails and get the Wedge Engineering brackets. Here are a couple of pics (yes I know my car is really dirty but its cold and I haven’t had time to clean it.)

As I said before, the Wedge bracket has three height settings you can bolt the seats to. However, to get it to the lowest setting you have to modify the bracket by cutting off the bottom hole so that the top hole will line up with the rails in the back part of the seat. However, if you do place the front and rear on the same level holes, the seat will be slanted up and I found that a little annoying. So I have the rear bolts set to the middle hole and the front bolts set to the highest hole to make the seat more level. At this setting I measured the floor to the top of the cushion of the seat to be about 9-1/2 inches which is higher than stock. However, I think that no matter what the seats are going to sit higher than the stock DA seats sit but it does not take long to get used to the increased height becaause it really is small. HTH.

I know about the three holes and I’ve also know that it is a bitch to get to the lowest setting because the bracket hits the floor board…I just want to have it sit as close to stock as possible. I know I’ll get used to it, but it’ll be hard because the only cars I’ve been driving have been my DA and an NSX.

uh oh. im 6’2" and if i hav emy seat somewhat upright, my head will touch the ceiling. i guess im just going to have to ride gangsta style when i get my recaros
