jdmjunkie - didnt want this to happen

This Alan Campbell kid is garbage.

I really hope a moderator sees this and either bans him or revokes his marketplace privilege. Im going to work with these lights since I have them. No way in hell will I ever get my money back out of them. Will probably buy another set eventually. I am OCD when it comes to things like this.

This is also getting posted on a Virginia based forum as well.

Wow that’s absolutely garbage…after he made you wait as long as you did they turn out to be not even close to what they were advertised as. It’s people like that who ruin this hobby for everyone else. And I would say you have been way more than a good buyer.

Sadly enough it is people like him that make us lowball others and even get out of the scene all together. I am going to use these though since I have them. Just gotta do a couple of repairs and clean them up real good. I wont let this incident stop me from buying online.

Is the corner broken piece in the box too. If not than he sold the real ones. And probably got those somewhere else and sent them. What a Fawken punk.

It was in the box. My guess is he dropped it and put the piece in the box and will use the “it happened during shipping” excuse which is odd because the box is not damaged at all.

Smh…

Its cool though. I will work with what ive been given. It will come back to bite him.

Wooowwww… Ban this guy.

The box is not damaged inside or out so the broken tip was done prior to packaging and I was never told of the missing connector. I would have never bought them if I had known that.[/QUOTE]

WOAH WTF!!! I PROMISE you SWEAR TO GOD ON MY LIFE! That corner of that headlight was NOT BROKEN when I packaged them up. I will put that on my unborn child. Also if you know me, I DO NOT swear to God unless I am telling the honest to God truth. Thanks for ASSUMING they were broken prior, it may have taken me way to long to ship them but they WERE NOT BROKEN when I packaged them up. You need to file for a damage claim with UPS. I had insurance on them for up to $300, even paid extra to get that insurance cause they normally only cover up to $100 for shipping. Also i didn’t know it was missing a connector, never put them on a car to know either. As for the second pic on the back of the headlight that was cracked prior but since nothing goes in that and its on the back I didn’t think anything of it since NOONE will ever see that. Out of curiosity what’s wrong with the 3rd pic???

Post it on that forum I don’t care because I know they were in perfect condition when I shipped them, minus the missing connector that I didn’t know about. Plus you already got me banned from MY home Honda forum/favorite forum thanks for that by the way.

They were as I advertised them when I boxed them up and shipped them.

^jdmjunkie as far as I know u advertised “mint” headlights! Are u blind or something?!

The lenses are in perfect condition and when I packaged them and shipped them the lenses had NO cracks, and they have all the tabs, since that’s all anyone ever sees when put on the car and usually thats all anyone cares about, I consider them mint.

If that corner was chipped during shipping, then the piece that broke off should still be in the box. The box isnt damaged, i wonder what the packing inside looked like?

How do you not know about the missing connector? Its blatantly obvious with wires going different directions. I care about headlamps being in mint condition because I paid a lot of fucking money to you under the assumption they were mint. Go learn what the word mint means.

That piece is in the box, he even said it was. Also the box was most likely hit on the side where it’s a flat surface, and if it was hit on the side you wouldn’t see any damage to the box since it’s a flat surface. Those corners of the one pieces are flimsy and break easily.

Didn’t pay much attention at all to the connector, and oh wow a fucking connector, how hard is it to go to autozone or wherever and get a new connector, oh yeah not hard. Oh and I paid 300 for them in MUCH WORSE condition, that blue overspray was WAY worse than what it is now. When I got them the overspray was all over the lenses and all over the bottom, I got MAJORITY of it off, and got all of it off that would be visible when mounted.

Mint means in perfect condition. Or if you want a dictionary definition…
Mint means…
adjective
(of an object) in pristine condition; as new : a pair of speakers including stands, mint, $160. [ORIGIN: elliptically from in mint condition.]

Oh and GAmedic, I also asked you what you wanted to offer. Asked you if 300 shipped was ok, since I paid 300 for them as well, you never objected to that, when you could of offered less if you wanted, which is why I had them listed as “$300 OR BEST OFFER”.

Also don’t see why you are bitching so much when I DID put insurance on them for up to $300. Go and make your damage claim with UPS and call it a day, since I also have a witness that the headlights were NOT broken prior to shipping.

I asked you what your best offer is shipped to Ga. You said $300 and not being the person to lowball, I agreed. Don’t try to turn this around on me.

Yes. Mint means perfect condition. These are not mint. Mint would be all weather stripping intact, no missing FACTORY connector, no overspray, and no chipped lens. These are far from perfect condition. No need to argue with me.

Ban the kid, file for the damages, and the drama will be over.
