JE Piston ring install HELP

I just received my 84 mm JE pistons. But when I tried to install stock Honda piston rings, they don’t fit. If you look at the pic I took (JE on the left, OEM on the right) at :

the “1” groove is too small for the piston ring to fit. The other rings fit fine though. Any ideas?? Or do I have to order JE piston rings??

OEM rings will not fit

I’m assuming you bought the pistons new…if you bought them as a set from JE directly, they should’ve came with the correct rings. You can call them up and give them your order number (that should be on the box) They will still have your information and send you the correct rings.
