ok guys when i met jesus to buy his clutch/axle and interior. he was a real cool dude. i bought everything from him w/ confidence but the clutch left me kinda eh. though it is brand new. it came off his J1 tranny which my tranny is a YS1. i asked him numerous times if it would fit cuz if it wouldnt i wont buy it. i asked him about 3 times before he took it off. he claimed it will fit and so i bought it and my friend was there and even heard him say it’ll work with ALL B-SERIES trannys. when time came down and i tried to throw on the clutch. it didnt fit. the teeth on the clutch was different from the teeth on my tranny. i called him and he picked up and i told him what happened. he seemed pretty cool about it. i said “yo jesus that clutch u sold me didnt fit my car” he said “oh really? when i bought it they told me it would fit all B-Series trannies” and i said “no the teeth arent the same” he said “well i sold it as is” and i said “no but i asked u if it would fit my tranny and u said it would, so u made a claim and i took ur word for it” and he said “yea ur right but the money was used for rent” i said “well trade me straight up for the steering wheel and hub” he said “yea cool. this weekend” i said “yea i’ll have to see my schedule if anything maybe sometime next week” and he said “ok”.
so i thought everything was cool from that point on. but i called him since thursday becuz i had a change of plans and wanted to pick it up this saturday. but he hasnt picked up his calls. i left him like 3 messages. no returned calls. NOTHING! im not asking for the money back if u dont have it i jus wanna trade for the steering wheels since u dont have the cash. jesus if ur reading this give me a call asap cuz i hate to do this but i jus feel ur flakin out on ur CLAIM and the trade.
yea for the type of person i am i would hit him up but im being cool cuz he is a cool dude and i kno he isnt tryin to scam me but if i can heard like a word from him about wassup then maybe it’ll shine some positive light in me. but i left 4 messages, and shit load of calls. but still no word. and i dont think he should play w/ me like that becuz when i had enuff of this shit. i do kno where he lives. but like i said, im tryin to keep it cool and hoping to get my trade he agreed with. i dont kno if he is bizzy or not but i mean can he take like a minute or 2 to hit me up and lemme kno wassup. cuz that is just makin me think he is flakin on his shit.
yea i been giving him time. he can atleast call me and let me know wassup. he just ignores my calls/messeges/AIM’s. since i told him he sold me the wrong shit he was like “well i was selling as is…” and i was like “u the one sayin it’ll fit my tranny so dont be making claims if u dont know” and he was like ima give u a call back after my meeting. but done hide and hasnt said shit. im pretty sure he could return my call and let me know wassup. but this cat hasnt said shit. so we gonna see what happens…
Yeah, no shit. Ive been fucked over a couple times and if I knew where the fuckers lived I would be in there front yard with a baseball bat THAT night.
Either that or just go ‘return’ your clutch through the motherfuckers front window. Atleast you’ll feel better. :shrug:
i went through the same shit w/ sum ahole that sold me some springs. said they would fit and they didn’t. when i told him about it he said since he never put anything in writing so it was my loss. Fuking ass hole. I thought i had an ace up my sleeve since my cousin is a lawyer. WHen i told him about h the situation he said there was really nothing i could do about it. Fuk the legal system. He told me that since there was no contract, the dick that sold me the springs was not liable for shit. Now we all must live and learn but come on. at least be cool about it. Just a word of advice. the next time you buy anything make sure you got something written down on paper if the person claims it’s for your car. It’s like a reciept and it’s a legal binding document. witnesses and word of mouth don’t hold up for shit in court. again, FUCK THE SYSTEM.

just a comment on this…but i noticed that JESWUN has a positive trader rating…a +2, meaning that anyone who is having a problem, has not used the system put in place to warn other g2ic members of a bad seller…
