Jmags or Si stocks?

what would you personally use?
polished 15" Si stocks or polished 15" jmags?

Jmags

/thread

i’ll take almost any rims over stock Si rims. imo, one of the worse looking 4x100 OEM honda rim.

stock alloys > copies (especially the J-mags, they’re a horrible copy)

(except for slipstreams, the fact that you can get a cheap, strong, 15x7, hubcentric wheel is super valuable for anyone lapping their car)

You’re correct there… I wouldn’t want to hit the track with a j-mag… But for a daily driver I believe they would get the job done.

Though purely from a looks standpoint… the j-mag looks TONS better than an Si wheel… especially a polished Si wheel.

And this is all fact, not opinion :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ll take J-Mag looks over SI wheels, but for performance, I don’t know cause I’ve never had any of them. Maybe prefer SI for performance since its OEM.

OEM wheels suck. i never have understood why people act like they UPGRADE to an LS meshie wheel. all honda wheels look terrible, especially on DAs. spend a couple extra couns and buy some aftermarket wheels. jmags arent to bad but light years ahead of an Si wheel. get em.

I was talking purely from a looks standpoint, I think the J-mags look horrible. The M7’s are GORGEOUS, but the J-mags are a poor copy IMO and look ugly as hell. There are some copies that seem to be better looking, better “fakes” as it would be. The slipstreams, Group N’s, and Circuit 8’s fall into that better category. Whereas J-mags, Grids, and some others just look bad IMO.

Hehe im just hassling you man. I agree in that as well though, the M7 looks much better than the J-Mag. I just have gotten very tired of the Si wheel, and don’t believe that in a polished form that they’d look any better.

As far as OEM wheels (ie meshies) being an ‘upgrade’ on our cars… A mesh wheel and tire actually weighs a bit less than a steelie/tire combo. Not to mention meshies are .5" wider (correct me if I’m wrong). So not only do they save on weight, they allow for a wider tire thus enhancing the grip/traction you can achieve… They also look a bit better than a black steelie or hubcap.

My 2cents.

OEM wheels > fakes.

in my opinion, at least fakes look good, even if theyre a cheap copy, a lot better than OEM anyways.

id take jmags over si rims any day. but i think it would be way worth it to actually have some mugen m7’s

yeah, i had mjags before and they look like shit. they really are a terrible copy. definitely rather have si’s.

I disagree with you that OEM wheels look bad on DA. I think that 98+Integra GSR Wheels (Blades) look good on my DA. A bunch of people will agree with me on this.

But to OP, JMAGS over Si wheels

I agree… i think they look horrible. The M7’s are delicious though.

id say get something else. if you want oem go with the blades. they’re oem but they’re beautiful on a teg. and they’re polished!

blades on a blue da looks sick, the color that looks like electron blue, I forgot what color it was.

Captiva Blue.

I also like the LS mesh on a G2
