They can take my children or wife, but ill be damned if they take the DB2.
everyone always misses proper insurance coverage and marking any aftermarket parts in the event they are stolen. No alarm, club, autolock or kill switch will stop a towtruck . I live in an area where they are roughly 1000 cars per sq mile and on any given day I lose count of the number of pick-up trucks I see dragging cars around on “repo-rigs”. Many times the alarms attached to the car are blaring full blast with no one paying any mind.
I guess you missed the memo on pager alarm systems with GPS. Most people won’t insure their aftermarket parts/car for more than what it’s worth so they’re just hoping it doesn’t get stolen. That’s why they get the basic deterrents. Yes, you can’t stop a tow truck, but if you get the right security it can help a lot. In the situation of a tow truck, you just have to know it’s a total lost.
I was wondering what the best GPS tracking solution might be in the event of one of my cars being stolen. I am sure I can prolly keep a thief from starting my car and driving away with it. However the tow truck issue is the most worrysome.
dayumm. im always making sure my tegg is safe frm thieves. i have viper alarm and i relocated my hood release cable from preventing sumone from disconnecting my battery which stops the alarm frm going off lol. i also have door handles without keyholes (; keyless entry. kuz i know people use shaved keys to go in integras. also going to do a fuel relay kill switcchh soon
